WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Candidates will achieve learning in this workshop through the following activities:

WORKSHOP GOALS

Upon completion of this module candidates should be able to:

  • Understand the importance of effective and strategic communication as a supply chain manager
  • Assess the communication strengths and weaknesses within their current working environment
  • Understand the strengths and weaknesses of different media of communication both written (e.g., e-mail) and verbal (including formal presentations, meetings, one-on-ones, etc.)
  • Develop skills to effectively create and use communication opportunities within and outside the organization
  • Receive and process constructive feedback on current communication skills and provide such feedback to others
  • Develop supply chain relationship-building skills

Payment Cancellation Policy

You are eligible for a refund minus an administration fee of $100.00 plus tax for cancellation/withdrawal requests received in writing before week 2; thereafter, no refund will be available. Transfer request to a future offering is permissible only if received in writing and accompanied by supporting documentation prior to week 3. Credits to be used for future offerings are valid for 12 months from the date of initial payment and will expire if not used in that time frame. Please contact Alberta Institute for details regarding eligibility to transfer.

If you would like to withdraw from a module, please send an email to Lina Bulatao at lbulatao@supplychaincanada.com. You are required to inform the Alberta Institute of your intent as soon as possible. Clearly state your intention to withdraw and provide authorization for us to proceed.
