ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Laurie Turnball

LAURIE TURNBULL

Laurie Turnbull is a Professor in the Supply Chain Management-Global program at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario, with over 25 years of industry and academic experience in international business. Specializing in procurement, logistics, and risk management, Laurie has a wealth of practical knowledge, which he brings to his teaching to help students develop critical skills for managing global supply chains. 

Laurie’s career spans consumer and industrial goods manufacturing, as well as the logistics service sector. He has contributed to leading trade publications, including Canadian Transportation & Logistics and Canadian Shipper magazines. He holds a Master of Science degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Liverpool and has earned the CITT-Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP) and Professional Materials Manager (PMM) designations. 

In recognition of his career achievements, Laurie received the CITT Award of Excellence in 2014. His research focuses on supply chain planning and geopolitical disruptions, and he remains actively involved with Supply Chain Canada and CITT.

Registrants will receive a full refund for courses cancelled by Supply Chain Canada - West.

Registrants who have received written acceptance into a course and provided written notice to Supply Chain Canada - West of their withdrawal from the course 14 days before the first day of class, will be provided with a full refund. After 14 days, refunds will not be granted.
