As organizations seek to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance supplier relationships, the ability to analyze and act upon data quickly is more critical than ever. 

This workshop is designed specifically for supply chain professionals who need to harness the full power of Microsoft Excel to optimize workflows, uncover meaningful insights, and support positive change in their organizations. Excel remains a powerful and accessible tool for managing complex data sets, automating processes, and providing actionable analytics. In this workshop, you will learn how to leverage Excel’s functions to transform data into strategic decisions that impact the bottom line.

  • Prepare and structure data for advanced analysis and visualization, including Power BI integration.  
  • Design and use PivotTables for comprehensive reporting and analysis. 
  • Apply Excel templates and tools specifically for supply chain professionals to immediately support supply chain challenges. 
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Jason Chao

JASON CHAO

Jason Chao is an accomplished professional with a B. Eng in Industrial Engineering from Ryerson University and extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. With a decade-long career in supply chain management within the oil & gas industry, Jason specialized in inventory management, planning, and logistics, where he led initiatives such as inventory reconciliation for PWC SOX Audits, SAP implementation, and KPI presentations to senior management. In the public sector, he spent another decade supervising aquatic facilities, teaching Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) courses, and delivering Microsoft program training at SAIT for corporate development and applied research.

Jason is deeply passionate about Supply Chain Management, business process improvement, and developing KPI tools that drive company success. His teaching philosophy centers around making learning engaging and practical, with a particular focus on enhancing Excel applications.

REFUND POLICY

Registrants will receive a full refund for courses cancelled by Supply Chain Canada - West.

Registrants who have received written acceptance into a course and provided written notice to Supply Chain Canada - West of their withdrawal from the course 14 days before the first day of class, will be provided with a full refund. After 14 days, refunds will not be granted.
