SUPPLY CHAIN CANADA

Supply Chain Canada is a non-profit association for supply chain professionals. With over a century of history, Supply Chain Canada exists to strengthen Canada’s supply chains by accrediting and training professionals, convening stakeholders to advance supply chain best practices, and advocating for the profession and SCMP designated professionals.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Today’s supply chains are under immense pressure as global trade disruptions reshape costs, availability, and risk. The ongoing tariff tensions between the United States and China, coupled with interprovincial barriers within Canada, are directly impacting the flow of goods, services, and investment. For supply chain professionals, these disruptions are more than headlines — they are realities that affect strategic planning, supplier relationships, and day-to-day operations. Understanding how to navigate this environment is now essential to maintaining resilience, competitiveness, and growth.

This exclusive dinner event at the Calgary Petroleum Club will feature Trevor Tombe, a leading economist and speaker, providing insights into Canada’s economic outlook and the implications of trade disruptions on both a global and national scale. The program will continue with a panel of category experts from trucking transportation, chemical commodities, and MRO who will share first-hand perspectives on how their sectors are adapting. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge while enjoying an exquisite dinner and ample opportunities to network with peers and industry leaders.
