Before You Attend: Required Setup

This is a hands-on workshop. To participate fully, you must have Microsoft Power BI Desktop installed and ready to use before Day 1. Please complete the following ahead of the workshop:

Step 1: Download and Install Power BI Desktop

• Windows: Download Power BI Desktop for Windows
• Mac: Power BI Desktop is not natively available for macOS. Mac users can access Power BI through the Power BI Web App (app.powerbi.com) with a free Microsoft account, or run Windows via Parallels, Boot Camp, or a virtual machine.

Step 2: Verify You Have Full Access

Open Power BI Desktop after installing and confirm you can create a new report. If you encounter any issues, contact your IT department before the workshop date.
