WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

The strategic importance of the supply function is more critical than ever in today’s economic environment. Supply chain professionals face complex, evolving challenges—from globalization and supply risks to currency fluctuations, volatile commodity prices, and rising energy costs. This landscape has driven a revolution in corporate procurement, positioning strategic supply chain management as a competitive weapon essential for launching products, entering markets, and mitigating competitive threats.

In this dynamic workshop, participants will be introduced to the core concepts of strategic management, exploring different levels of strategy, organizational structure, value proposition, competitive advantage, positioning, and sustainability. The session focuses deeply on the role of strategic sourcing—including examining purchasing budgets, analyzing the supply market landscape, and negotiating with suppliers—and teaches you how to align your supply chain management strategy with overarching corporate business goals and the external economic environment.
