About the Instructor:

Paul Berna is the Director of Proactive & Digital Transformation Services within the Dematic Customer Service team. Paul is leading Digital Transformation initiatives influenced by Industry 4.0. Key focus on intelligent assets, system monitoring, and controlling devices, systems, Robotics and applications to enable, deliver and optimize value-add packages of solutions & services to improve customer business outcomes.

Paul has over 20 years of experience in the material handling industry with a strong background in software development, system integration and managed services. Paul has a Master’s of Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology. Paul is also Project Management Professional (PMP) certified through PMI and participates in various on-going leadership training programs focusing on technology, change management and cultural diversity.


    About the Instructor:

Brian Vezza is a Strategic Advisor in the Digital Transformation Services team within Dematic.  He is based near Dallas, TX and has worked in advanced technology for over 25 years.  Prior to joining Dematic, Brian has led complex digital incubation efforts at three previous companies: Nortel, Intel, and Genpact.  He is a strategist and has deep knowledge of business and market trends across much of the digital space including: Internet of Things, analytics, software, hardware, networks, intelligent systems, and services across many vertical markets.  Brian has a B.S. in Physics from the University of California, San Diego and has 14 patents related to digital solutions.


Refund and Cancellation Policy: 



  • Registrants will receive a full refund to courses cancelled by Supply Chain Canada, Alberta Institute.
  • Registrants who have received written acceptance into a course and provide written notice to Supply Chain Canada, Alberta Institute of their withdrawal from the course 14 days or more prior to the first day of class, will be provided a full refund. After 14 days prior up to 2 days prior to the start of the class, Supply Chain Canada, Alberta Institute will refund half the course registration fee. After the 2- day period, refunds will not be granted.


Due to unforeseen circumstance if Supply Chain Canada - Alberta Institute cancels an event all registrants will be offered the option to transfer the registration to a future event or receive a refund.
