Brian Dumsday
   

About the Instructor:

 

 

Brian has spent over 35 years as a management consultant and is a Partner with BWDumsday & Associates Ltd. as well as also working as a Senior Associate with The Winslow Group. He specializes in business process re-engineering, project management, the application of industrial engineering techniques to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, as well as all aspects of supply chain and logistics management. In addition to consulting, Brian taught a regular course at MacEwan University & CITT for five years.

 

Shortly after leaving MacEwan, Brian continued his part-time teaching for the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) and at one time delivered five separate modules as part of the Supply Chain Management Professional Certification program. Modules included Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics and Transportation, Operations and Process Management and Knowledge Management. In addition, Brian conducted three workshops including Leadership and Professionalism, International Business and Multicultural Skills as well as Business Ethics and Social Responsibility.

 

Most recently Brian took a break from consulting and worked with the Enterprise Edmonton group at Edmonton Economic Development Corporation to assist local businesses to expand beyond the Edmonton Metro Region through International Trade. Brian is a registered professional engineer and a member of the Supply Chain Management Association, The Logistics Institute and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.


       

Hooman Hosseinkhannazer
   

Hooman is a business executive with experience in advanced technology, oil and gas and the not-for- profit sectors. As the Vice President Business Development at Norcada Inc in Edmonton, he oversees a broad portfolio of high-tech product solutions.  Hooman has dedicated the last few years of his career to the development and commercialization of a number of nanotechnology and MEMS product lines for industrial and research applications, with products sold in over 40 countries. Building on his experience in various industries, Hooman enthusiastically works to promote collaborative product, supply chain and knowledge development frameworks across a wide range of sectors.

Hooman is also highly engaged with the humanitarian and community projects. He is actively involved with major disaster relief efforts at the Canadian and International Red Cross efforts, and supports poverty elimination initiatives as a board member at Bissell Centre in Edmonton Canada.
