Supply Chain Canada Alberta Institute in association with Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), offers courses in leading to SAIT’s Applied Project Management Certificate.  

This project planning workshop, based on the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) latest PMBOK® Guide, focuses on the process of building a comprehensive and realistic project plan. You will learn how to develop the project’s schedule, cost and quality baselines which will be used to monitor and control the project as it is executed. As part of the planning process, scope is developed, project activities are defined and sequenced, resources are assigned and quality standards are set. You will also consider the human dimension of project planning and the importance of assembling the best team you can.

Module 1:       The Project Management Plan

  • Outline the components that are included in a Project Management Plan.

Module 2:       Project Scope Planning

  • Explain what a Scope Management Plan is and how it enables project success.
  • Create a scope baseline for a project.

Module 3:       Project Schedule Planning

  • Create a schedule baseline for a project.

Module 4:       Project Cost Planning

  • Create a cost baseline for a project.


NOTE:  Meals will NOT be provided during this course.

Refunds:

  • Registrants will receive a full refund to courses cancelled by Supply Chain Canada, Alberta Institute.
  • Registrants who have received written acceptance into a course and provide written notice to Supply Chain Canada, Alberta Institute of their withdrawal from the course 14 days or more prior to the first day of class, will be provided a full refund. After 14 days prior up to 2 days prior to the start of the class, Supply Chain Canada, Alberta Institute will refund half the course registration fee. After the 2- day period, refunds will not be granted.

Cancellation:

Due to unforeseen circumstance if Supply Chain Canada - Alberta Institute cancels an event all registrants will be offered the option to transfer the registration to a future event or receive a refund.
